Assistant Director

        Arun S. Tilak is the Assistant Director for the Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies. He came to CETES in August 2005.

       Arun Tilak brings to CETES experience from diverse industries and international markets. His professional background includes corporate and strategy planning, setting up and running companies. He was instrumental in creating and then heading an Indo- British Joint Venture in the construction materials business as its joint Managing Director. As the Vice President (Corporate Planning) for a large cement company he was responsible for setting up a deep water shipping berth. He headed PepsiCo’s Joint Venture Partners franchise operations in India. He was responsible for setting up the bottling plant and was a board director on the sales and marketing company. Prior to this he set up and headed an Indo-Omani joint venture for irrigation and well drilling in the Sultanate of Oman. Arun has also been a financial consultant.

       Arun has extensive experience with small companies and entrepreneurs. In his career, he has worked with many small companies and entrepreneurs to integrate them into the supply chain of the companies he worked for, and in their financial planning.

       Arun holds a B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and, a Master’s in Management from J. Bajaj Institute of Management Bombay University. Click here to contact Arun S. Tilak.
